Our story
My love of fine china began with treasured pieces passed down through my family. Each heirloom carried its own history, inspiring an appreciation for craftsmanship, beauty, and tradition.
Over the years, I began collecting additional fine and vintage china patterns, not only for holidays and special occasions, but for everyday meals as well. I came to believe that a thoughtfully set table can transform even an ordinary meal into something memorable. Instead of keeping china tucked away in a cabinet, I believe these pieces should be used and enjoyed.
Mixing patterns, layering textures, and creating beautiful place settings became both a creative outlet and a true passion.
When it came time to name my business, I found myself returning to Gisele, my middle name. I had always loved its timeless elegance, and to me, it perfectly reflects the beauty and refinement of my collections.
Today, through Place Settings by Gisele, I share my love of fine and vintage china with others who want to create celebrations that feel elegant, welcoming, and memorable. By specializing in smaller gatherings, I’m able to provide a highly personal experience and ensure every table receives the thoughtful attention it deserves.
